Advising

Remote Advising in the Department of Communication Studies

We are still available to support you remotely. If your assigned advisor is Lisa-Michelle Forsyth, please schedule appointments as usual through Connect and the appointment will be held via WedEx video chat or phone call, depending on your accessibility. If your assigned advisor is one of our Faculty Advisors, please email them directly to set up a remote advising option. As always, you are welcome to email your advisor with questions, however, please allow additional time for a response during this time of remote work.

If you are declared Pre-Communication Studies major, please visit the CLAS Advising website for more information about the remote advising options available to you.

Professor Communication and Classroom Information

Students should contact instructors via their preferred electronic method (Canvas, email, etc.) To check for information on specific classes and how your professor will handle the class, check for your professor's instructions in Canvas first: https://canvas.uncc.edu/ If you cannot find the answer to your specific question there, email your professor. You can look up faculty here: faculty main page or here: https://directory.uncc.edu/facstaff
